Woohoo SATURDAY!

I am so excited that Saturday is here!!!

This morning Peggy and I are going to be in a triathalon!!!  I am so excited about that.  To even think we could do this is a miracle.  But better yet... I KNOW WE CAN!  Two years ago it scared me when they said I had to do a stress test on the treadmill.... I hated to even think what would happen.  Now, I am training for a 5K this summer and hoping to do even more than that.

I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy you time spent with family, friends, and worship time.   I have a busy one ahead but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Huge hugz,
Tracy

That is so awesome!  Congratulations!!!  I am so impressed with your goal of a 5k.  I am not a runner and a triathalon is amazing.  Maybe we should have a Bariatric Olympics?!  Sounds like you are ready to kick it off.

I got up, went to my cold garage, got on my bike with MP3 player blasting in my ears and rode for 2 hours.  I had not been on my bike for a week because it has been so cold and I just could not face that cold garage.  But today... there was no stopping me and I felt like I could have riden for another 2 hours.  It was great.  I loved every moment of it for some reason.  I feel like I will survive my goal of riding in the Hilly Hundred this fall after all.

How exciting! I so want to be able to do marathons one day!
It has been several days but I did get on my treadmill today. Now I am need to get back to my 3 day a week strength training that I have gotten away from.

Wow Tracy,  Good for you!  I just finally got a treadmill and am so proud of myself for getting on it a whole 1/2 hour yesterday!    You are inspiring.  maybe I will shoot for 45 minutes next week.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.
